I went to http://htlogs.com/what-is-antivirus-net-how-to-remove-antivirus-net/ and it told me to download HijackThis and I have. With it, it says to save to my desktop. How?
When I downloaded HJT, it says 'HijackThis appears to have been started from a temporary folder. Since temp folders tend to be be emptied regularly, it's wise to copy HijackThis.exe to a folder of its own, for instance C:\ProgramHiles\HijackThis. This way, and backups that will be made of fixed items won't be lost. Please quit HijackThis and copy it to a separate folder first before any items.'
Please help, because I want to fix my computer as soon as possible.

Listen hun,

I HATE that virus and I know exactly how to remove it. Do NOT download anymore of the software that is supposed to be helping you remove the antivirus. You are most likely to download another virus or a scam that will slow down you computer. Here are step by step instructions on how to remove it, download free:

1. You want to restart your computer (safemode with networking)

2. You want to open your RUN box and type in: %temp%

3. A temp box should pop up. IT IS PERFECTLY SAFE TO DELETE EVERYTHING IN THIS BOX (for these files are only temporary)

4. You might notice a weird file name like this 5pxw7tt (random letters and numbers) that is the virus

5. Copy that weird file name

6. Run: REGEDIT

7. That box will pop up Edit > Find> enter file name. Delete

8. Restart normal mode virus free (:

Personally, I don't have any clue on how to save HijackThis. But, I have the answer of your problem.

A couple of days ago we made this simple guide:

Use it to remove Antivirus.net. It should only take a couple of minutes.

NEVER us any manual method to remove infections. They can replicate and spread all round the machine making it worse. And Hijack this is NOT an anti-virus. You need to use a proper anti-spyware/irus scanner.

Download the free scanner from http://malwarebytes.org

And consider getting a proper real tie anti-spyware/virus so you don't get infected again.

you should manage to uninstall it from the upload/eliminate courses window. click initiate, bypass to regulate Panel, click upload/eliminate courses and it would nicely be contained in the checklist. in basic terms click it, click replace/eliminate and uninstall it.
