It can be secure... there are keys such as WEP and WPA that you can use to lock out the system. Unless you get a pretty knowledgeable person, they won't know how to bust the code.

Well, there's always an inherent extra level of security with wired technology because you need physical access to the wires in order to intercept communication.
So of course you can stand outside an office building and listen for wireless traffic, but you can't listen on their wired LAN.
I think the question is wireless sufficiently secure - and that sort of depends on which wireless technology you're referring to, but the answer is yes.
Bluetooth is inherently a bit insecure AFAIK, but 802.11x (wireless internet) can easily be encrypted (with AES) such that it would take a supercomputer hundreds of years to break the key.
I think people are a little afraid of wireless simply because it's easy to deploy them improperly - most consumer wirless routers are insecure by default (either with no security or somewhat-breakable WEP) - but that doesn't mean that the technology itself can't be secure.

It is less secure as it easier to hack into, but you can set a password using a lock like, WPA and WEP which will secure but too hackers it's still easy too get into. Plus there are softwares like "Wireshark" that allows you too access a secured internet.

It is less. It is easier to hack into.
