Hello Wendy D.

OK Step 1 from the BC guide was go to safe mode with networking

Step 2 was make the settings changes in IE. This is not just done because of not being able to access the internet but because of AV Security Suite is using that setting to access your pc

Step 3 was run Rkill. You need to keep using it until NO Rogue processes are found and DO NOT Restart your PC Until running a Full Scan with Mbam

For extra info on Rkill see

Step 4. I am adding this one. Return to normal windows mode and run a Quick Scan with Mbam again.

If anything is found then run a Full Scan

Nah, definitely don't just wipe everything and start clean. The preparation time in finding and backing up everything that needs to be is more time than it will take to get rid of this with help. And people inevitably miss something vital like their computer-based emails or that vital profile file.

Like I said before, get Bleeping Computer to give you a hand. They can get you free of this and in the process, they get a look at what's going on which helps them and then even more people will be able to be helped. Start here:

Now you may desire to have the potential to browse and acquire application. Google the tactics killed in 2d step. in the event that they do no longer seem to be indexed as stable, seek for them on the disk and delete them. in case you could no longer, merely acquire malwarebytes or secret agent ware well-known practitioner and that they could desire to try this stuff for you. in case you cant launch the appliance, start up them from interior of job supervisor.
