1. kaspersky2.even though people trash norton and i have in the past the 2009 versions are pretty dam good.i am running norton anti-virus 2009 with no complaints.3. eset nod32 another great program. free there are two pretty good ones.i think avira is best but avast is not far behind.avg took a step back with there 8.5 version.major bloatware.

Avira in my opinion by far surpasses them all since it has a 99.8% detection on viruses and 99.0% on other threats. The software itself is the lowest computer resource user. Great for gamers and business people alike.
