Just select the pictures inside and cut/paste them somewhere else. CTRL+A to select everything inside a folder and CTRL+X / CTRL+V to cut/paste. Or you can right click on the pictures after you selected them and press cut. After that you can delete the empty folder by right clicking and pressing delete.

Select all images in the folder you want to delete then either copy (CTRL + c) and paste (CTRL + v) to another folder or click the move button and select the new folder you want the pics in then simply right click and delete, for the rest rinse and repeat

move the pictures to a different folder, then right click>delete the folder.
Anytime you delete a folder, its contents will delete too. So if you move them out, so the folder is empty, it wont delete them.
