Can I restore my permanently deleted folders in my computer?

By my mistake, I permanently deleted one of my important folder in the computer. Can I restore the same. kindly help us in this. Balu

Try checking in 'Recycle Bin' there u have to find those folders ; double click on d folder needed and restore them!

It depends on what you mean by "permanently deleted." I will explain...



#1. If you mean - you put your folder in the trash /recycle bin and you've emptied it out.

If this is what you've done then it is possible that you may recover your data. Your drive keeps

what is called a 'mirror' even after you've emptied out your trash/recycle bin.



There is software available that can recover files from the mirror image.



#2. If you mean - you deleted your folders/files, AND you've also reformatted your drive, or reloaded

your operating system, then you probably will not be able to recover any data. When you reformat a

drive, everything is erased - it's wiped clean, so you end up with a drive that is the way it was when

you first opened it "out of the box."

WIndows does not delete the files if you deleted the files from your computer if you deleted it.Windows just make it hidden from you to save the time that is required to delete the file.



Hopefully,you can recover your folder if windows has not overwritten the file by now.

There are software which needs to be installed before deleting. Else you can't restore. The permanent deleted files/folders lost it's address in the memory. So the operating system can't point that address. Please search for some other backups else if possible create new files.



Don't waste time by installing any software from internet, no use of them and it will make viruses in your computer.

You can get them back if you do the right things.

first of all, do not add any more any kind of files into your computer.

second, download a data recovery tool (the one I use is Hodo data recovery) to your computer drive (except the one which you lost your folder).

third, install and run the tool to scan your computer.

fourth, after scanning, there will be a recoverable file list, you can check if they are there. If they are, select them all and click "recover".

yeah you can! but if, still not other data written on your old data memory locations of HDD. there are lot of professionals which can restore your permanently deleted data on heavy cost or if you want to do this on your own you can search over internet for recovery software's, see if anything works for you. best of luck.

im really sry but if you permanently deleted all of your pics they are gone forever. did you take the pics on ur laptop or did u upload them from a cell phone? if you uploaded them from somewhere else you can probs find them from where the pics were originally taken from. otherwise sry!
