Question:
A username and password are being requested by http://[hidden.com]. The site says: ":"?

I am trying to use a simple a form-to-send-an-email page within MS Expression Web 2. I am getting the following message when submit the form page in a (any) browser:

A username and password are being requested by http://[hidden.com]. The site says: ":"

With a text field both for "User Name:" and "Password:"

I have tried building the form [in Expression] line by line, field by field and testing at each iteration. All goes well. I apply each text style (external css) one by one - again - all is fine. I work hard and finally get a page that looks as intended and responds as intended. Then without rhyme or reason the page/form stops working. I get the above error message (in an authentication pop-up)

I have tried to work through the issue with GoDaddy support (hosting company) - no positive result. Microsoft support has been of no help either.

Tested multiple browsers (FF, IE, Safari) on multiple OS for all iterations. This appears to be a server side issue.

I have multiple domains/websites hosted with GD and am only experiencing this issue with one website.

1) All are linux w/FP extensions.
2) The code is tested across multiple domains. Works well except for the target domain. Even the FQDN links to css work well.

Any suggestions?

Again - the code has been tested at each iteration of new fields and formatting (days, literally to test this).

Thanks much!

Where is your form sending the email request? Is is php, cgi, asp or sendmail?

It seems like your are hitting a Protected URL.

My guess is the email handler for your web host restricts the use of its email handler.

That or the web you've created is blocking access. Try finding the website properties tab and set it to Allow Anonymous Connections

Try passing your hosting account name and password with the form. It could be the mail server wants username and password info as well.

When I checked out your query, I concept you supposed that the website mentioned "no Asians". Which I could suppose was once unlawful. However, perhaps you are speakme approximately character profiles declaring that they do not wish Asians? I do not suppose you'll be able to name that racist precisely. The nature of those relationship websites, principally the homosexual ones, is to be approximately hook usawith persons with particular bodily attributes - It's all superficial, besides.... I do not know why any one wishes to play that sport........But if you happen to do, no need complaining if persons do not wish you on account that you do not have compatibility their bizarre template. I wager perhaps persons say that on account that they have got preconceptions approximately targeted races, identical as a few specify that they ONLY wish Asians or black persons. I do not know why you could wish to satisfy persons like that. I suppose it is first-rate to appear at it as an effortless manner so that you can establish persons to not hassle with. Yes, plenty of gays do look a little backward. Same because the average populace. We simply was hoping that gays could be larger.
