There is no such thing as an email account with no spam. Pick and email address that is not common and you will reduce the likely hood of spam. Do not use your account when purchasing anything. Tell your friends to not sign you up for ecards etc.

I use Yahoo, windows live, and google's gmail. Gmail's spam filter is better than the than yahoo and windows. Plus another feature I really like is if some one is spoofing a address it will red flag it. When you open it, It's says this email may not be from the place it says it's from. Got a email from Bof A claiming there was a problem with my account, asking me to log on from the link they where giving me. I know enough not to click on something like that. But many users don't. Gmail flaged it as a possible fake.

There is no email service with no spam. Usually, your email gets on spammers lists by you using the address somewhere on the internet where it can be seen. Today however, many spammers simply guess email address' so it's pretty much impossible to avoid getting spam.
I'd suggest you use a free email service that also has good anti-spam features like mail.google.com
Why Google over Yahoo? In my experience Yahoo is VERY slow. Slow to load it's web page, slow to get and make available your email. Google is much faster. Yahoo has good anti-spam features also but I do not recommend them due to their slowness.
live.com (Microsoft) also has good anti-spam features but when you send email from live.com, they include ads in the email. Yick.
