How can I delete System Security from my computer?

Here is the problem.

I read everything about how can I delete System Security, but none of them works for me. The problem is that I can't open certain programs and stuff. I can't open Control Panel at all. When I start installation of programs that can delete System Security, the installation immediatly stops. How can I delete System Security?

I would suggest doing it in safe mode with networking so that you can update your anti-spyware software This is an easy download specific tool.

I agree with the misca who recommended Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware but you might have to take some additional steps because you state that you cannot download and install security programs needed. That is System Security blocking you from using those programs to get rid of it.



There is a way around this though. First download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware via Internet Explorer because you can rename the installation file before it is saved on your computer. As soon as you click Save you should be taken to a window which will have the name of the installation file which is:

mbam-setup.exe. In that window rename that installation file to something like newname.exe (doesn't really matter what you name it just so you know what it is). Now save it to your desktop. And install it. If it still will not run, you will need to navigate to program files and fine the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware folder and located the exe file which is named: mbam.exe and rename that as well. Now you should be good to go to follow the removal guide from bleepingcomputer the other person posted. Don't forget to update this program if it does not automatically update.

Also, be sure to turn off system restore until your computer is clean or the malware can be put right back on or saved in a restore point which you do not want to happen.

I JUST finally got rid of system security on my computer. After all the anguish it has caused me, countless remedies for things that just don't work, and the like.

So here's what you do:

1. Right-click the system securities icon on your desktop and find out what the file is actually called.

2. Go into 'my computer' and use ctrl+F to search for the file.

3. Delete this file. If it doesn't let you delete it because the process is running and you can't open the task pane, then restart your computer in safe mode to delete the file.

4. Then, edit your system registry by selecting 'run' then type 'regedit', then find the registry file (it will be under microsoft, then windows, then run, and then one of the files in there.) it won't be the same exact file, of course, but it will have the same number as the file you've deleted.

NOTE: My computer had two files and two numbers- yours might too. If you see any processes with suspicious-looking numbers, end them!

This guide will walk you through removing the System Security program and its associated malware for free:Automated Removal Instructions for System Security using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:







1. Print out these instructions as we will need to close every window that is open later in the fix.



2. Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, or MBAM, from the following location and save it to your desktop:

3. Once downloaded, close all programs and Windows on your computer, including this one.



4. Double-click on the icon on your desktop named mbam-setup.exe. This will start the installation of MBAM onto your computer.

Do not make any changes to default settings and when the program has finished installing, make sure you leave both the Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware checked. Then click on the Finish button.



6. MBAM will now automatically start and you will see a message stating that you should update the program before performing a scan. As MBAM will automatically update itself after the install, you can press the OK button to close that box

8. MBAM will now start scanning your computer for malware. This process can take quite a while, so we suggest you go and do something else and periodically check on the status of the scan.



9. When the scan is finished a message box will appear.

You should click on the OK button to close the message box and continue with the SystemSecurity removal process.



10. You will now be back at the main Scanner screen. At this point you should click on the Show Results button.

You should now click on the Remove Selected button to remove all the listed malware. MBAM will now delete all of the files and registry keys and add them to the programs quarantine. When removing the files, MBAM may require a reboot in order to remove some of them. If it displays a message stating that it needs to reboot, please allow it to do so. Once your computer has rebooted, and you are logged in, please continue with the rest of the steps.



12. When MBAM has finished removing the malware, it will open the scan log and display it in Notepad. Review the log as desired, and then close the Notepad window.



13. You can now exit the MBAM program.
