No - If you have NOD internet security that already has the antivirus component in it, Nortons on the other hand is a dog with fleas.

You are never safe from all viruses. There's alwys the gap between when a virus is released and when the antivirus companies detect it and add it to the signature base. And there are also viruses that aren't even known to much people. That is why Eset Nod32 is really good. It has a high heuristics engine to detect unreported viruses, ones not detected. Kaspersky is at the top and eset nod32 is in second place. Kaspersky is good in all fields except the heuristics engine isn't as great. That's why they have quick detection of new viruses rates and quick updates.

NOD 32 is so good in virus detection u can also go 4 PANDA 2009 WITH FIREWALL such a heavy antivirus or AVIRA PEMIUM.

Yes its the best. I have it. I've never got a virus.
plus, it updates for the latest version on its own..so u never need to worry about the "updation" part of it :)
besides, Norton AntiVirus is also good. NOD is the best tho, in my opinion.

your NEVER 100% safe from a virus doesnt matter what antivirus you use or antispyware. there is just safer, the only way to 100% never get a virus is not using a computer. certain virus programs are better than others sure but there are still chances because all viruses arent patched for instantly and there isnt one anti virus i have seen that updates every second

Aha! finally somebody asks this! lol I rather have the two certainly one of them D: they're mind-blowing however the anti-virus has a returned-up/restoration reboot and the internet risk-free practices has parental controls and extra privateness settings than the anti-virus. i might desire the anti-virus except you do a great style of banking. i'm additionally rather specific that Kapersky is the main suitable except you pay $139 for extremely the comparable element. it works great for my computers. additionally...i've got not tried setting up them the two yet via fact they the two uninstall any contemporary ones you have, i'm guessing you may not. wish this helped! sturdy luck!

Norton is one of the worst programs i have seen as a computer tech. 8 out of 10 computers that come in to the shop have norton on them and are infected..
i would use AVG with spybot search and destroy in tandem
