Since updating AVG on the 24th November I have recieved several notifications, after scanning that about 50 files have broken digital signatures. Most are windows installer and end in .msi
Have looked else where and other people are having the same information appear.
Anyone have any ideas? or is it a case of false positive results since the update?
Thanks all

My AVG is doing the same, a couple of days ago it came up with nothing then suddenly after the update loads of broken signatures are appearing.
Probably just another bug in AVG. Had one a few weeks back when it insisted a Sony made update program for my laptop (that came pre-installed on it) was infected!

I have a similar project! in simple terms put in AVG 2011 and got here up with 19 damaged signatures. when I verify the "test outcomes assessment" there aren't any infections, undercover agent ware, warnings or rootkits. i favor to understand if i can ignore about those "warnings" or regardless of they are. i have checked everywhere and no it truly is straightforward to inform me in simple terms WHAT it skill. maximum human beings in simple terms say quit using avg... (i have also scanned those damaged signatures with SuperAntiSpyware without searching something incorrect).

It's a problem with AVG. Hopefully they'll release an update to fix it.

You've may have been nailed by "Evilgrade".
It's an exploit pack (just recently itself updated).
