Which of these will keep my laptop away from anyone who tries to get into my laptop, an fingerprint reader as a password or an lockscreen that'll require a password to unlock the laptop? Btw, if i forgot my password or i can't seem to get into my laptop thru an fingerprint and i'm stuck on the lock screen, how do i reset the password or fingerprint while still being stuck on the lock screen? Is this possible?

FYI:

UPEK fingerprint scanners insecure (Dell, Acer, ASUS, Gateway, Lenovo, MSI, Samsung, Sony, NEC, Toshiba and other brands)

"...UPEK fingerprint readers and running UPEK Protector Suite, we found that your Windows account passwords are stored in Windows registry almost in plain text, barely scrambled but not encrypted."

This article is somewhat dated, and there may have been a firmware update.

Make sure to verify that through your manufacturer's website.

residing house residing house windows 7 would have gadget integrated biometrics. After known distribution of this OS, it would desire to grow to be worry-free operation to 'log in' utilising fingerprint identity (surely an extremely take care of technique), yet modern biometrics are strictly broking provided utility, usually used for log in's merely.
