Doesn't matter what you deleted. Those who have a need to know on a networked work computer... can find out (or see) where you've been. You can only hope that they aren't checking. What the hell were you thinking??! And what an inappropriate thing to be doing on a work computer... even if you couldn't get caught!!! Someone could walk in. I will never understand why people would even think about doing these things. Save it for your home computer. Hopefully, you didn't cause a virus, which often happens as a rusult of visiting those sites.

Sorry folks who advised deleting hisotry... DELETING HISTORY, COOKIES, CACHE OR TEMP. FILES, ETC... DOES NOT DO IT!! Sites people visit can still be "seen". There truly is nothing he can do. The collegue will be fine... it wasn't on his computer.

How to Erase Google Search History or other SE in Internet Explorer

The search history that displays in the search box on the Google or other major search engine homepage is stored by your browser, not by Google. You can clear the history or disable this feature entirely by following these steps:

1. Go to the Tools menu located at the top of the browser

2. Select Internet Options

3. Select the Content tab

4. Within the Personal Information area, select AutoComplete

o To clear the current history, click on Clear Forms

o To disable this feature entirely, uncheck the Forms box

You can also delete individual entries from your search history by using the Down arrow key to highlight a previous search and then pressing the Delete key.

It is simple.

1. Firstly, you click the Tools button on the bar at the top of you Internet.

2. Secondly, click options.

3. Once you have clicked options, click the tab at the top named Privacy.

4. Then click the button named Clear Now.

Thats All!!!

On Internet Explorer, go to tools > internet options. Then click on delete history or whatever the tabs are called. Other browsers would have similar functions. I would delete history, cookies, form data, and passwords, so there is no trace of the sites I went to, the searches I have done, etc.
