My laptop has a folder icon with a flashing question mark folder in the middle of my screen. I have an Apple ibook.Does anyone know how to get rid of it? I'm not able to get past it.

You've got a real problem. That sounds like your system has crashed/harddrive has crashed. The iBook is telling you it can't find the operating system. I suggest you take it to an authorized Apple repair shop/dealer. I hope you've backed up all your files.

spin the iwheel to unlock it then take it too an imac help center. they'll placed it on the idesk and plug it into the ihelp mainframe computing gadget. they then run the ifix software and improve! its fastened. they'll instuct you to run the iclean software as quickly as a month to make effective this does not happen back.

and here i thought it was apple's mail program . . . alerting the operator they have new incoming email . . . go figure.
