How do I get Antivirus XP 2008 off my computor?

It just started popping up and I went to the add/remove and can't find it. It constantly interrupts what I am doing. HELP

Antivirus XP 2008 (or AntivirusXP2008, AntiVirXP08, AntivirusXP 2008) is a rogue antispyware program. This program is a clone of Xp Antivirus, XPAntivirus2008, Antivirus2008, Antivirus 2008. Or you can say that Antivirus XP 2008 is just XPAntivirus2008 by another name. I'd recommend not to install so many softwares to fight a nasty, yet single infection. What's the point of having half a dozen programs more?

Ideally, it's easier to tell what's infected by looking at a system scan log. But anyway, XP antivirus should be removed via Windows Safe Mode.

To get there, hold F8 key as you restart, and wait until Boot Menu appears. Choose Safe Mode with Networking.
