How to bypass barracuda filtering program.?

Ok so, my camp has these computer lab times when were able to do everything except YouTube and I'm fine with that but the school the camp is located have a Barracuda Filtering system which practically blocks everything except Nickelodeon, Lego's, and Disney channel. The camp is unable to disable the filter. I'm a 14 year old boy and I need my big boy NEEDS. I'll be here for 3 weeks therefore these kiddie sites are gonna drive me INSANE. I have a lot of computer experience and I tried disable/uninstalling the Filtering System. The information I've gathered so far is that the program is not Downloaded but rather transferred through the internet connection (router) because this is a computer was brought by the camp not the school. Also just to tell you the Filter itself blocks proxies. Also in mind this is at CAMP so If I need to get a program from home I can supply it. Thank you for your help :D!

They are using an enterprise-class firewall to do the blocking. These are considered security 2.0 devices which are capable of blocking sites not just based on a list, but sites based on their category (as maintained by sites like brightcloud.com). They are also capable of blocking based on application; so they could do something like give you access to facebook, but not let you run the games.



These firewalls can be very difficult to defeat, and are designed to recognize proxy sites. Perhaps something like hidemyass.com would work. This is a service that uses a client to establish a VPN connection between your computer and any one of the dozens of servers in countries around the world. Since there is no way to monitor traffic inside the tunnel, then it is simply a question of, will the firewall allow you to connect to one of those servers? Of course, if you had the know-how or wanted to put in the effort to learn, you could also setup a similar type of VPN proxy using your own home network as a relay. Other than that, there is no practical way to by-pass a firewall such as that.
