each time i try to upgrade or download internet explorer version 8 or 9 beta, i always get an error and it doesnt upgrade or download. Another question, if i can change over from millennium to windows xp, would i have to buy a windows xp disc to install xp, or can i install it free from the web? Thanks

Most likely, the only sensible solution is to replace your entire computer. Tell us more about your hardware. What CPU do you have? How much memory? Is this a brand name computer? If so, tell us the make and model.

yeah I don't think you can put ie 8 or 9 on millenniuim. Very dated, you need an xp upgrade cd, or you need to install it fresh by booting of the cd. Backup your data first!

you would need to get a windows XP License number not a CD

(the CD is worth $1 the License is worth the money"
