Question reguarding Avira AntiVirus and Windows Vista compatibilty.?

Ever since I installed Service Pack 2 for Vista Home Basic, at start-up an Avira window pops up and says "known compatibilty issues with this version of Windows" but Windows can find no fix. Can I go to Avira properties; compatibility, and change it to run in compatibility mode with XP service pack 2"?

what windows are you on ? I installed Service Pack 2 for Vista Home Basic - so its vista ? change it to run in compatibility mode with XP service pack 2 - so you using XP ?

The compatibility issue is probably just a performance or stability issue not a virus detection issue. If you experience problems, you should think about installing the latest version of Avira and seeing if it has been fixed so far.
