Question:
Are you able to see your browsing history with the Tor brower addon?

My husband and I have had some conflicts with his use of the computer and he promised me he wasn't doing what I was catching him doing. (Please don't ask for details. Thank you.)

All of a sudden I'm noticing this thing called TOR downloaded and I'm not familiar with this program. Does this addon hide browsing history? From what I'm seeing it enables anonymous browsing but I'm not sure I understand it's mechanics. Can someone explain to me what it does? And if my husband is hiding something from me again, does TOR hide it for him by erasing browsing history?

The Tor browser's main claim to fame is browsing anonymity.

I believe that by default it is set to not remember history, but I'm not positive about that.

... But in any case, if he went through the trouble of installing Tor, I'm fairly certain that he covered his history tracks too.

Tor runs Firefox, so you can check it the same way you would check your normal history.
