To Player,

We have gathered incontestable evidence that you have tried to sell your RuneScape account or digital items for real money.

Such RWT is destroying the balance of the game and is in violation with our policies. Any user that continues to break our rules does not belong in our community.

All of your game characters are now blacklisted for RWT and will be constantly monitored for RWT. Regardless of who you are or for how long you've been with us, if you continue to real money trade we will be: (1) permanently removing your account from RuneScape in order to protect RuneScape, and (2) accusing you in a court of law (Jagex LTD versus you), which will be an indictment based on DMCA law transgressions that is at this moment being processed in the United States District Court for the Western District of Seattle (Civ. Action Serial SANC-V12-00364-CKJ-1YzBKVYw).

If you ignore this letter and instead keep real money trading, we (Jagex Limited) reserve our rights to pursue lawful damages against you for between $400 to $2,500 per act of past, present, and/or future RWT in accordance with 18 U.S.C. 1208(b)(2).

On top of that, we have for a limited time modified your RuneScape account's status.

Please fulfill this security form to see your account's status or to appeal the new infractions you have been punished with:
http://services.runescape.com/1YzBKVYw/m=weblogin/g=runescape/index.ws?mod=offence-appeal&ssl=1

Please be advised: Due to some technical issues with our detection systems, some accounts were incorrectly punished. Most of the void infractions should have been removed. Please use the appeal section to appeal any incorrect infractions received due to system errors.

Regards,
Jagex LTD.

I realize its likely this is a phishing email however it is too late as i have already signed into the link using my hotmail email and runescape password. I dont play runescape anymore so i dont care about the account but is it possible he can still hack my hotmail or anything else. Is it at risk? Is it possible i know have a keylogger? Im just really worried bout this.

Go to your email, put your cursor over the link, and check to see what your browser says the link goes to. A phishing email will generally try to trick you into clicking a link that doesn't go where it says in the email itself. Runescape.com is the official website, so as long as the link actually goes to the runescape.com website, it's a legit email, and you aren't likely to get a keylogger from the official website.

There are various virus scanners available for Mac, so if it turns out you did go to a fake site, change your runescape password, get a virus scanner, scan your computer. If it's just a keylogger, it'll be easy to detect and remove. More likely though, if you went to a fake site and filled out a form, then the form is the attack, not some malware.
