Question:
Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 Anti-Spam: training required?
2009-08-08 04:38:59 UTC
I need help with training on 50 not spam emails please.

I tried many times to follow through option 1 and click done at the end, but nothing had changed. I don't know what options 2, 3, and 4 mean and where/how/what to do........I would appreciate if someone could explain how to use one or all of the options, thank you.

I don't know the difference between Microsoft Office Outlook and Microsoft Windows Mail. (I don't have the Office pack. I don't do words or excel etc. on my laptop.) I hope I have enough information here for you.......

Here are the options to commence training and as quoted below:

1. the Wizard, to reset the Anti-Spam database and to train using emails which are identified as spam or non-spam

2. the pop-up menu in the report window

3. the "Mark as Spam" and "Mark as Not Spam" buttons in Microsoft Office Outlook and Windows Mail

4. the menu "Specials/Mark as Spam/Mark as Not Spam" in The Bat! application

There's a drop down box in Windows Mail that works in tandem with Kaspersky, just choose the particular email you want to mark as NOT spam & add the sender & the sender's domain to yr safe list.

If you do want to mark AS spam then add the sender & the sender's domain to yr blocked list. Good luck

I'm using KIS 10 now so it's a bit different, I hope this is enough to help you through. BTW you should of rec'd an email for a free upgrade to KIS 10, I got mine 14th Jul but only had time last w/end to do it.

Here is a better idea instead of using Kaspersky (Which is the worst AV program out there) use the best internet security suite out there.
