What Is A Good Free Usb Password Protection?

I need a password protection system that i can insert my usb drive and double click on my drive and it tells me to insert the password that i can pick something simple in other words. Thnx In Advance

you can just forget to set password using a software because you can easily set a password using winrar or winzip..just compress all files on your usb drive using winrar or winzip & then set a password to that compress files & only you can open it because you have a password already right?

What you ask for isn't probably feasible i'm afraid. in case you % it so which you are able to't "enter" the stick in any respect and not employing a password, that could require the excellent carry on with be encrypted, yet once you are attempting this then this equipment itself can't be examine.

I use cryptsetup with luks for exactly this purpose. See for details. If you'd like, I can send you the script I use as well.
