Is it a good idea to sign up on kickasstorrents.to?

Question

I've always used that site for torrents and it's easily the best one. But now I suddenly need to sign up to use it! I'm a bit suspicious because you're redirected to another site to sign up and you have to give your creditcard information. I'm not planning on spending any money anyway, I don't have a creditcard myself and my parents won't let me sign up with their information. So can I nog use this site anymore? Any other sites I can use instead? Or any way to get around it? Thanks.

It's like the google for torrents.

Search the torrent you want, you'll get a lot of links.

When you open one, it'll take you to a page with a short list of torrent sites you can download the .torrent file from. No need for signup BTW =)

The simple answer is no. If it is redirecting you to a site asking for credit card info or other info then some form of phishing is going on. Do NOT give any information, even an e-mail address. go back to the original site and see if you pressed the wrong button. If it happens again, skip this website altogether.

NO, it is a phishing site using almost the same adress like kickass but it s only a representation of the original, if you look closely you will see that the traditional "download torrent" button is missing. The original adress is kickass.to and if you paste this adress directly into the browser and not in google you will enter in the original site where you don t need to log in to download.

What's the point in putting your card info in if you're not paying for anything??!! Another good website is piratebay.se but never ever put your credit info in a risky website such as torrent websites or porn or anything like that.
