I have recently purchased a new laptop and it has TrueCrypt installed on it. However every time I start it up, TrueCrypt Boot Loader asks for a password before Windows can boot up. Is there a way to remove this without uninstalling TrueCrypt alltogether?

Start TrueCrypt once you're in Windows. Look under 'System', then 'Permanently Decrypt....' that will remove it from your hard drive. Might take some hours to finish...

Nope. That is the beauty of TrueCrypt. It is more or less unbreakable.

You will have to wipe the computer and reinstall everything.
