I have the Redirect virus on my computer, how do i get rid of it?

I have no money and completely refuse to pay for some crummy software that most likely does not work. But my computer keeps redirecting me and its F--KIN annoying! I checked already and I do NOT have that TDSSserv.sys thing. What can I do to get this thing off of my computer before I decide to just delete things at random!!!

Remove Redirect Virus



1. Perform System Restore - Windows System Restore is a feature of Windows that allows you to restore your computer to a previous known working state in the event of a problem.



2. Restart your computer. As your computer restarts but before Windows launches, tap "F8" key constantly. Use the arrow keys to highlight the "Safe Mode with Networking" option and then press ENTER.



3. Open Internet Explorer >> Click on Tools >> Click on Internet Options >> In the the Internet Options window click on the Connections tab >> Then click on the LAN settings button >> Now you will see Local Area Network (LAN) settings window >> Uncheck the checkbox labeled "Use a proxy server for your LAN" under the Proxy Server section and press OK.



4. Download and Run SmitfraudFix a scan. http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php



# Run SmitfraudFix.exe and select the option 2 and follow the on screen instructions. Then select the option 5 and continue. Then Exit.



5. Download and Run Malwarebytes' AntiMalware. http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?tag=contentBody%3bmostPopTwoColWrap&cdlPid=10997763



6. Download and Run SUPERAntiSpyware Press here http://www.superantispyware.com/

Avira is the ONLY anti virus worth downloading,it has a free version,you need to go to start - run - type in msconfig and look for something there or open the task manager and look there

go to download.com and dowlnload avg (it is a free virus protection) then download Malwarebytes ( deletes all of your viruses on the comp.) after you finish doing that your comp will be back to normal, and avg is way better then other softwares ive tried and payed for .
