I scanned my computer with Avast Anti-virus and found no virus but?

two files could not be scanned :
C:\Documents and Settings\M_2\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\l21s9njq.default\cookies.sqlite-journal... file could not be scanned!
and C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\EventCache\{D5327F92-AB23-41BD-8534-F65C097D4AB2}.bin... file could not be scanned!
I wish to get help : what are these files and can I delete them without any troubles and why they could not be scanned .. thanks alot

Try one or both of these anti-malware products before deleting anything. An anti-virus is just one option. You also need anti-malware solutions as well.

You're fine. Some files cannot be scanned as they are password protected. The ones you've shown here are not malware, dont sweat it ;)

these are write protected and can't be opened.there is nothing to do here and it is not to be deleted as it is a operating file for your Firefox browser.It's not a virus,trojan,spyware or any thing else so leave it alone.

i am running this new program by iobit on my pc --had these before and found nothing

spybot search

superantispyware

ad aware

it is called iobit security 360 ---found 4 rogue programs --it is the same people that make smart defrag ---i suggest u give this program a try

it is the 1 download on ---www.majorgeeks.com ----for the last month --followed by malwarebytes
