Your linksys router would desire to have a putting to the place you could substitute your IP handle to your inner community. it is your gateway. you will would desire to be community vulnerable to do this or examine the educational on the information superhighway Interface. you will nonetheless have an analogous IP handle between your broadband modem to the cable company so there is no thank you to alter that. yet you could configure you very own IP handle yet you will would desire to ensure your interior the main suitable IP parameters.

TCP/IP defines the language that your computer uses to communicate with other computers. We recommend using automated Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DH CP) to automatically assign Internet Protocol (IP) addresses to the computers on your network, if your network supports it. If you use DH CP, then you don't have to change your settings if you move your computer to another location, and DH CP doesn't require you to manually configure settings such as Domain Name System (DANS) and Windows Internet Name Service (WINS).
