error deleting file or folder?

cannot delete a video clip, a pop up says error deleting file or folder

Did that error message mention that it was in use by another. If you just viewed it then your movie program is still active in task manager even though it is not showing you could just log off windows and then log back on which will clear everything that is active then you should be able to delete that file.
