My computer keeps randomly asking me to open and download a .png file? What do I do!!?

just randomly, like every other hour a file will start blinking and it wants to download a weird .png file i've never heard of before. :( what should i do? what could it be cause by??

ignore it treat it as a threat,scan your PC for Spyware and Malware. Set you browser to delete history when you close the browser and in delete tick all boxes, apply and ok

Could be a virus. Do a full system scan for viruses and malware/spyware just to be on the safe side.

Im pretty sure a png is a picture document... It's nothing bad

Did you resolve your problem? I'm getting the same thing, the most recent files my system tried to open were:

It's probably caused by a malware. Scan with this:

http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free

Might be a virus. Run all the anti- stuff you have (anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-spyware, etc.). If problem still persist, have a computer expert do the checking/repair.
