1. go to C:\Windows\System32\ folder, copy taskmgr.exe and rename copy to iexplore.exe . Run it.

(if you can't, download process explorer, rename it to iexplore.exe and copy to usb disk. run from usb disk on infected pc). Stop numerical processes, like 235235623 . Note down their location.

2. Run hitman pro. Do a scan, activate (for free), remove what it finds. Reboot, Run it again. Repeat (1-2) again, till hitmanpro finds nothing.

3. Run Spyware Doctor, delete what it finds, If file, stopped at 1 is still there, rename and delete it.

Go to safe mode with networking

*right click on the security tool which u see in the desktop or on the startup

*under target check the filename with exe and then click on the find target or open file location

*delete the file

*hit start and then run and type regedit which will open the registry editor

*click on edit and then find and then type the security tool filename with extension under the find what and then hit find next

*After searching the registry, on the right hand side it will show the registry entry of the security tool. Right click on the entry which is highlighted and then hit delete

*after deleting hit F3, which will search for the other entries of security tool, if it finds any delete it too and again hit F3 till it says finished searching through the registry

Security tool will be gone.. if you want to check for other virus infection run viper rescue scan in safe mode, which is very effective scan to remove virus infection.(live.sunbeltsoftware.com, Go to this site and hit download vipre rescue and the hit run. after downloading hit yes and then upzip. it will open a command prompt which says logging is enabled. scan is started)

You can run antivirus and antispyware programs, but the sad fact is if you have found one virus on your computer, you probably have several. Cleaning the computer now requires you to follow these steps, because modern viruses and spyware entrench themselves in files that your computer needs in order to run:

1. Virus-check your data files (not application files-- you have installer CDs for those).

2. Back up the data files, getting them off your hard drive.

3. Get your original operating system CDs that came with your computer.

4. Boot your computer from the operating system CD.

5. Select the option that erases your hard drive and then reinstall your system software.

6. Turn on your software firewall that came with your operating system.

7. Reconnect to the internet, and download *all* Windows updates, no matter how long it takes.

8. Reinstall your application software, and update the applications as much as you can.

9. Reinstall your data files.

10. Create a limited user account on your system that does *not* have administrator access, and web surf only from this account.

Yes, this is a pain in the butt. No, there is no other way. No, antivirus and antispyware programs cannot fix this problem on its own.

So, what do you do in the future?

1. Never click on links you find in an e-mail.

2. Never open an e-mail attachment, ever.

3. Only download files from a reputable website that you know is on the up-and-up.

4. Never use bit-torrent and other file-sharing programs.

5. Never use an unsolicited drive-checking site.

6. Turn off all java and java scripting by default, and only enable java and java scripting for sites that you know you can trust.

7. Never read an unsolicited e-mail, and delete spam immediately. It is possible to be hacked by reading an e-mail alone.

Please adhere to the 'dont's' I provided above, because you will have to repeat the cleaning steps that I listed first *every time you get infected.* Anti-spyware and anti-virus programs are good to have, but they are a second line of defense. The best way to protect your system is you, and changing your behavior.

Good luck!

1 - Restart your computer in safe mode :

Restart your computer and as soon as your computer turns on hit the F8 key (repeatedly) until a screen comes up

Choose Start computer in SAFE MODE with network support

2 - Restore your internet setting :

Open Internet Explorer

Go to Tools => Internet Options => Connections Tab => LAN Settings

The key words here are SAFE MODE!!!

Download, (if you can't get on-line, have a friend download and copy to disc/flash for transfer) install, update and then, in SAFE MODE* run full scans, with these programs...

http://www.superantispyware.com

http://download.cnet.com/1770-20_4-0.html?query=Ad+Aware+Free+Anti+Malware&tag=404&searchtype=downloads Ad-Aware free

*** Important, when downloaded/installed/updated disconnect from the internet ***

Then re-start.

If you can't run a scan, go into the scanner's folder and re-name the .exe file to something like 'MyFile.exe' and try in safe mode again. Some malware prevent the execution of anti spy/mal/virus scans by blocking them by name.

You should consider getting a good Anti-Virus program.

Try one of these free ones...

http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

http://www.free-av.com/en/download/1/avira_antivir_personal__free_antivirus.html (Avria)

***Never use more than one, active, anti-virus program at any one time***

*Note: On start up (before Windows loads) keep tapping either F5 or F8 (be aware that some manufacturers use F8 for system recovery!) then use arrow keys to highlight 'Safe Mode with networking' and hit Enter/Return, click on a user account, enter the Administrator password (if you don't know it, there probably isn't one so leave it blank) and hit Enter/Return.

** It has been noted that Malwarebytes should be run in 'Normal Mode' unless that isn't possible!

First thing to do is reset your internet settings back to default, go to control panel, internet options, click on the "advanced" tab, then on the reset button, whilst in internet options click on the connections tab, then on LAN Settings and clear any ticked boxes, except for the "automatically detect settings box" finally click ok.

Next thing to do is a quick scan with a program called Malwarebytes its very effective and free, you may have to download it to a USB memory stick using another computer and transfer it to the infected one if you are unable to get on the internet.

Finally scan your PC with Hitman Pro it scans with five different anti-virus engines at once and only takes 10mins, click next and activate the 30 day free trial once the scan has finished and it will remove any malware found.

Please email me and let me know if it worked, thanks :)

is a virus, telling you, you have viruses and it downloads without

you knowing. i tried getting rid of it, but nothing.

im going to get my mum to take it off for me.

all i can say is that if you need an antivirus thing, download Avira. i got this

go to control panel/ internet options click on connection tab LAN settings uncheck proxy server virus was probable using port 6555 for it update

This is my scrip for removal of Virus and Malware and some things to think about before you do anything please Read first # 1 should clean most computers however there will be computer that need step #2 and real bad ones all of step #3

SYSTEM RESTORE bad idea if you think you have a virus it may spread it you can lose files or programs you paid for depends on when last restore was done. never do a restore without having a full backup

format: never format with out a full backup

If you don't have internet access:

go to control internet options click on connection tab LAN settings uncheck proxy server (unless you set this up or your ISP/Administrator) virus was probable using port 6555 for it update

1: Your computer may be infected it need to be clean. run a full virus scan if you don't have anti-virus go to download.com and get a free one. do not by one on line you are infected and you may end up giving you credit card info out to thieves if it won't let you download an anti virus program boot your computer in safe-mode with networking (that the press F8 key when you restart your computer) I recommend a cold start shut the computer down and leave it off 30 sec. then restart and press F8 remember pick with arrows keys safe-mode with networking login to windows when it come up and go to download.com and download Spybot search & Destroy or MalwareBytes both will install in safe mode and run do the updates for it and do a full scan then go to eset.com and do their free online virus scan.

if this doesn't work

2: you need to go to http://www.ubcd4win.com/ on a friends computer and build a a bootable CD or DVD download file is at http://www.securitywonks.net/listing/view/3/UBCD-for-Windows

and this one does it all will give you internet access to update the files for spybot search & destroy then run it. It free also when you get the computer back boot in safe mode with-networking (shift F8) and go to eset.com and do a free anti-virus scan make sure you put the disk in and then turn off the computer so it a cold boot

3: if all this fails then you must backup all your data to removable storage or pull your hard drive put in a new one install your operating system and your applications your anti-virus and anti-malware do all updates and put your data back (data doc, pictures music, passwords anything important on your computer) after it up and running change all
