Why do iexplore.exe and msfeedssync.exe run at startup?

Is this supposed to happen? When I end their processes, they don't restart themselves, but then sometimes they open again randomly. Is this okay, or a trojan/virus?
My A/V Programs are:
Webroot Spy Sweeper with Anti Virus
Spybot S&D with TeaTimer
Thanks!!

msfeedssync.exe
Microsoft Feeds Synchronization task found on PCs with Internet Explorer 7 and which automatic RSS Feeds synchronization turned ON. This task starts up at the intervals specified in Internet Explorer 7 and checks for updates to your RSS feeds. Once it has updated your RSS feeds, it terminates.
"iexplore.exe" is the main executable of the Internet Explorer browser from Mircosoft. It is considered a part of the Windows operating system. Check the security settings for this program to minimize the risk when you are surfing.

Look at Start, All Programs, Startup. In there it will show all programs that you can set to start up automatically. Delete any you do not want. If they are not in there, this could be the result of a failed installation of some program or the failed uninstall of some program. Think about all programs you installed or uninstalled before this happened. YOu might have to redo that.
I do have a computer that brings up the Windows Explorer each time. It is because of a botched uninstall I'm sure but I've never been able to get rid of it. Not fun but not harmful.

IMHO, both processes shouldn't be in a start up. You should check what folder they are loaded from to be sure that this is a genuine process and not a malware that camouflage themselves.
msfeedssync.exe should be in C:\Windows\System32. iexplore.exe should be in C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\)
Use this freeware program to check the path. http://www.file.net/freeware/windows-process-viewer.html
