Get the following software .

Malwarebytes free .

Update it . Scan the folder which your antivirus says is infected ,

It should remove it . If it doesn't find a virus there , it may be a false positive .

Good Luck

Malware has gotten very pro-active at protecting itself from removal. But it can only protect itself while Windows is running, because it has made itself part of the Windows Operating System. If you can boot your computer with a different operating system, you might be able to find suspicious files. Some people use Ubuntu for this. Unfortunately, a Windows computer usually has over 15,000 files on it.

What anti-virus program are you using?

Does it give you the option to delete it?

You can also try updating the anti-virus program to the latest version.

make sure it is your antivirus program and not just another rouge warning from those programs that fake you into downloading a bogus program....find the name of the virus and type this in your browser >> what is _________ virus ...when the page appears it will tell you the virus and what it does....the next step is type this in your browser > How to remove ___________ virus from my computer.....

Need any help...removing it...just give me the name and i will give you free links to research free tools designed to remove it....
