got on my computer this morning, and nothing was functioning. i restarted my computer. logged on and tried doing a virus scan with avg, and id click scan whole computer, nothing would happen. then i tried my avast, and it came up with a message saying i dont have the proper permisions. i try uninstaliing avg and reenstalling it, and it wont let me install it, saying it cant connect to the internet. internet explorer wouldnt work, it bring up a window, then close it. firefox wouldnt open at all. google chrome would open, but have no connection. opera was the only one that would actualy work. I went to google and searched for anti virus scanners. when id click on a antivirus' homepage, it would give me an error page saying it cant find the server/ check your internet connection. i could download it from for exp, cnet, but it wouldnt install, cause it couldnt connect to the server. we tried a disk defragment, and it froze. we tried a windows restore, and it totally failed. i tried using in safe mode, still said i didnt have the proper permisions, and its normal icon picture was missing. used my psp as an intermediat to get scanners onto the computer. then try scanning, but it would close itself shortly after the scan started, then lock it, and get rid of normal icon. we tried renaming the .exe files, it was still locked. tried uninstalling, reinstalling, renaming, and running a scan, it would lock again shortly after initializing. got firefox working again and went to google. did a search, and almost every link i clicked on, redirected me, alot of them being this link, jar:file:///C:/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/chrome/en-US.jar!/locale/browser-region/region.properties used the psp to get the hijackthis program, and it failed and was locked. was trying to close the psp folder and it switched to not responding, and shortley after, the desktop dissapeard, except for the background image. only 2 programs open, the non responding psp folder, and firefox. has any1 had this problem before, and does anyone know how to fix it. online scanners blocked to. no scanner will work.

Access denied to normal security functions indicates malware of some breed.

You'll likely not be able to get anything necessary to fix it over the Internet with the infected unit because of this 'access denial' aspect.

Find another computer and download Malwarebytes to start cleaning up your system:

http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_A…

After installing, you may have to rename it "123.exe" (or any " .exe " you want) because again, the more effective malware removal utilities are blocked by name.

After re-naming it> update> then run.

('System Restore' may have to be turned off for effective cleaning).

Spybot S&D and AdAware aren't on the list of things that you've tried. Use them... When you ran SuperAntiSpyware, did it open, or did it just put an icon in the system tray? Right click on the icon to bring up the interface. Update and then Scan for harmful software. If all these scans are turning up nothing, then it's possible that the problem with Google is limited to your browser and is the result of infection, not the continuing presence of the infection. Try re-installing your browser. Also, make sure that you are up to date with all your Windows Updates.

I consider myself no expert but what I would do is try the obvious system restore if possible and if not, given the invasiveness of the problem, just fresh install windows... Old files should be saved so you wont lose any of your data. Then once you are fresh installed run a virus scan just to be sure...

boot and at the same time tap the F8 key when the options screen appears choose safemode with networking then go to Safety.Live.com that is Microsoft's online virus scanner use the full service scan...if this does not work then download malwarebytes.com loaded to a memory stick or avira.com cd rescue disk...there is one other method it requires a hardware kit to connect you hard drive to another computer through the usb port and using that computer antivirus to disinfect your machine that cable cost about $40us this is a safe method as you hard drive is not booted

They answer to your problem is to most likely take it to the shop (computer shop). That's your best hope. Although it will cost money, it will be less money than buying a whole new computer. Sometimes it's better to let someone else handle your problems.
