Yes, you can. Right click the doc file>click properties. Under security tab you will find the administrator's/author's name with a specific code (combination of numerics & alphabets) which is the machine code for the specific computer that created the doc file. Then right click my computer icon on the desktop>click properties>click computer name. You will find the same code no. as found in the doc file. Obviously the two nos. from the two doc files will be different but will match with the two machines which created them.

If you right click the file and hit properties, and then click "Details" you can see in the "Author" field the name of the person MS Word was registered to.

However, you can't tell which computer the file originated from.

Tracy is authentic . an straightforward VPN setup is all you desire . The study in basic terms is there because of the fact the excel report is at the instant in use ..ask your self what experience could it make to have greater then one consumer having access to and enhancing the excel report on the comparable time ? how could the cells or sums artwork ?
