I Googled something similar to this and found Nicklockard.com

He gives free advise on this stuff, and was very helpful

"Rapid Antivirus (also known as RapidAntivirus 2.7) is new rogue anti-spyware application which shows many falsified notifications about imaginary system risks and multiple virus infections. This is the way to push user into purchasing of RapidAntivirus full version. Usually parasite comes to computer with video codec that contains trojan in it. Once trojan is in computer it automatically downloads Rapid Antivirus or other rogue application.

When parasite is on board it will display you messages that imitates system tray messages of Windows Security alerts. These reports contain information about raft number of different infections and multiple system risks. Remember that all these notifications are faked, because parasite cannot know about infection on your computer. Any click on these pop-ups and you will be redirected to the RapidAntivirus.com web site. This aggressive advertisement is made to push people into unnecessary money wasting. Rapid Antivirus 2.7 can be a reason of multiple problems on your computer like system slowdown, changed browser settings and even limited internet connection."

I highly recommend you follow all the preliminary steps in the following link. These steps should handle about 70% of all malware problems, should your problem still exist, please post a fresh HijackThis log in the forums as shown in step #6 and a highly trained malware removal expert will be with you ASAP for Free as well.

If you are unable to access the internet on the infected machine, or are unable to download/save anything; please go to a clean computer and download the programs/and or files to a portable storage device( thumbdrive, external hard drive, cd, etc). Then plug/insert it into the infected machine and follow the same instructions from there.

If you are unable to open or install any of the programs, rename them to something else and then try to run them again.
