When I try to access my account info a message comes up that edit.yahoo.com uses an invalid security certificate

You perhaps opening some web pages which are secure like for e-mailing , convention etc.. These websites uses a protection certificate which is disorders for a detailed period, to scan the authenticity of those internet sites... In order that interval would had been crossed and the internet site owner then wishes to renew the certificates... If you are sure about these web pages then which you can "continue" to those websites

I had the same issue with my laptop! After checking to see if the security certificate was up to date (and it was) I checked my system and what I found was that my date was not right on my laptop. I changed the date to the right date and no more problems.



You can do this by right clicking on the time and date in the lower right hand corner of your laptop and clicking on adjust date/time.
