Question:
Why is my email being treated as spam?
?

I am trying to contact a company for a possible sponsorship when I send my message I get a postmaster delivery failure. Rather than it being the normal hotmail one it is one from the company who I am trying to send the email to. It is getting sent back by a spam filter or something. I have tried this about 5 times, each time removing things that I think might be setting off the filter.

here is the message I am getting:

I hope this explains the situation, this message doesn't really make any sense to me and we don't have an admin or anyone I can ask about this.

Thanks in advance, any help would be great.

If this doesn't help what kind of things usually set off filters like this?

You may want to look into your contents again see if you have the problems below:

a) Using HTML for your email body. Use plain text instead.

b) Having too many external links. Avoid too many links in your contenct.

c) Contains of too many 'Spam' phrases such as "free", "sign up", "offers", "lose weight", "lottery" and so on

it seems like they are using barracuda as a filtering service and they don't like your source ip (where you're sending from): verizon

click the "listed" link for more details

try sending again but from a friend's house.

from the headers they also do not like html markup in the body of the email. try composing using "no markup" or "plain text".
