So I was a fool and I opened an .exe file and there was nothing in it so I deleted it and searched for him once more. I found it in my Windows map. So I deleted that and couple minutes later error sound started playing repeatedly. My whole system slowed down, I couldn't access task manager and there was no options on the left side when I opened My Computer. I restarted my PC and there was no icons, only 1 window which said something about java update. So I tried task manager again and it opened. I killed that updater but still no icons. I looked for any suspicious programs but I couldn't find any. I restarted PC and booted in safe mod. I couldn't find any sign of malware. So I turned my PC as normally and now everything is normal. But I don't think its removed. Maybe it installed keylogger or something like that. Is there any way to know if its still there cause I don't want to erase my whole HD?

This cleans most bugs

If it says you are clean, then 99% chance you are clean

Reboot

hold the F8 key until you get to the safe mode options

go into safe mode with networking

be patient, its slow

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial61.html

open internet explorer, go to tools, internet options, connections, LAN settings and make sure use proxy server is unchecked, save and exit (if its checked you have a bug)

download rkill and run it

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/rkill

a command prompt will open and close, then a log will appear - that means its finished

if no command prompt opens, keep running it til it does

download install update malwarebytes

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/malwarebytes-anti-malware

let it run a scan

see if the report says it cleaned everything

Run your antivirus and let it do a scan

restart back to normal mode

hope this helps

1. Boot your computer into safe mode with networking

2. Download ExterminateIT (free download, costs to remove though)

3. Run the program

4. When it is done running, it will give you a list of all malicious software, cookies, etc. You can upgrade to have it remove them, or you can do it yourself. It will tell you the file directory/registry location for each file you need to get rid of.
