I had the 30 day trial for hitman pro a year ago and now I can't use the delete feature anymore unless I pay..but it can still scan and find viruses. Well It keeps finding a hijacker on Internet explorer and apparently "remnants" from other malware which I manually deleted... but now it's hard to find them manually now as you can see in these images of the results..

I have additionally scanned my whole computer with Malwarebytes, Superantispyware, Avast free antivirus, Spyware terminator, Spybot, JRT, Spyware blaster, adware removal tool for all browsers and they don't find anything with my computer but hitmanpro does

There is obviously something wrong with my computer as windows defender cannot be turned on, my browsers freeze, then computer freezes and recently some software found that my most of my drives are not active

What do I have to do to remove these viruses/malwares/hijackers if most scanners can't find it (on safe mode as well) and I can't pay for hitman pro right now?

Is there a software that specifically searches for remnants hidden still in your system? my knowledge of computers is not too advanced but I can try whatever you have for me...

To manually delete the registry entry detected, open registry editor and export (/backup) the registry before making changes.

Go to HKEY_USERS > S-1-5-21-233236 ... > Software > Microsoft > Internet Explorer > SearchScopes and delete the hijacker entry from there.

If issue persists, follow the steps further below:

1. Uninstall unwanted programs through the Control Panel.

2. Remove suspicious add-on, toolbar or extension from your browser.

3. Scan your computer using Trend Micro Fake AV removal tool or Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium.

Firstly, stop worrying, there is nothing serious in that log.

Two things i recommend.

First run adwcleaner

Second, it it very easy to delete these remnants manually.

Fire up the registry editor, type regedit into the run or search box.Simply navigate to the path shown by HMP, and delete the entries.

Your hijacker is in HKU which is users, see my picture

Click on that, then you have six more clicks to get to the entry

Lastly, you do not have a hijacker, its just a remnant ( leftover ) and be EXTREMELY careful with the registry editor, deleting the wrong items can cause damage, go steady

You need to manually browse to the file locations or search in the registry for these things. It tells you where they are. If you can't do that you should pay for the license, its not much and sounds like you need it.

you can grab CCleaner, it might find some of those files.
