I get those all the time from ebay, paypal and amazon. I was told just to delete them. If you click on them the page will look very much like the real thing but the address will have slight variations.

I was sent one of these yesterday. Forward any suspect emails to spoof@ebay.com They'll then get back to you to tell you whether it's genuine or not. If it is genuine, the email should also appear in the inbox section of your 'My ebay'.

Other than contacting ebay about it, there is virtually nothing you can do. Just be aware that some people do fall for stunts like this but if you've read up on the ebay security section, you'll know what to look out for!

The police have enough to do, so following up on things like this is unheard of. You're wasting your time there. If you're lucky, your ISP may do something but being as though these fraudsters come from far and wide, the chances of your ISP being able to pinpoint them all is probably nil
