help my computer is sending out tons of spam how do i stop it!?!?

my computer is sending out a ton of spam to random people and for each mail sent out i get a popup from my security (symantec) that its scanning and then they cover my entire screen
and i dont know how to stop it HELP!?!?

Close down you e-mail application.



Make sure your anti-virus program has all the latest updates.



Do a full system scan with the anti-virus program.



If that doesn't fix it, you may need to take the PC to a professional.



In the future, be very careful when opening e-mail and download stuff on your PC, especially porn.

Hijackthis will let you KILL the program that is making it send out messages and Spybot will find and destroy what is doing it to begin with...
