nopro is right hacking is fun if you kno wat your doing but it can lead to alot of problem and its not hacking that the real problem because everyone says hacking but hacking is only to make a program to function better ...cracking on the other hand is the way to get you some time behind bars .. that way you break a programs code to make it run to your advantage its very illegal and can sometimes be a federal offense goggle hacking and you will find what you want to kno but its either gonna be to much for you to understand or perfect for you

Hacking isnt as glorious as peep make it. Lots of reading, lots of computer classes, most of all, a lifetime commitment! Most people arent even aware of what a true hacker is! Most hackers are not breaking laws to begin with. A hacker is a person that modifies or redesigns something to do a job it wouldnt ordinarily do. It takes a special person to be a hacker. Sign up for a basic computer course. If you dont fall out there, get into advanced computing. After that, you will need some electronics background so head back to school for an introduction to electronics. Then back off to school for advanced electronics. You WILL be designing alot of your own circuits. If you make it that far, you have the disease and you wont get rid of it till death! ABOVE ALL! When you get there, NEVER think for one moment you are a professional hacker! There is no such thing. The minute you think you know it all, something new comes up.

EDIT: LOL! Seems to be alot of wannabe hackers in here. Got news for you all. The term hacker came out long before personal computers came out! Hacking does NOT pertain to just computing and if you WERE real hackers you would know this. Dont consider yourselves any more than script kiddies and crackers. You aint even close to the hacker league.

Honestly dude, it's probably not for you. Not trying to be a dick but years of experience after already knowing computers in depth will still be a huge challenge. If you're totally interested. Like TOTALLY, then learn computers in general first.

If you need info, torrent search "hack" and you'll get plenty, but be careful sir because you'll end up infecting yourself if you think you can download keyloggers and viruses to put on people's computers.

Play around with Task Manager, look up Command Prompt commands, and fiddle around with your computer. Once you have that down pat, you can buy a C++ for dummies book and see where you go from there. Hacking is not something that can be Google searched - it takes time and hard work (not that I'm endorsing crime). ^^

[EDIT]: I would look for classes on programming and programming languages - they can be very helpful.

you tube can be a very helpful resource, and believe it or not notepad is all you will need to develop some decent hacks. if you are talking lower scale you can use chat engine. there are many programs out there that hack things, but if your looking to learn how to code then i would suggest learning some python or perl or java, they are all good things to be fluent in. if you are looking to do things your not suposed to at school or something, i personally wouldn't bother because it would only get you in trouble or expelled.

Step one. Learn bash, sh, csh, and tcsh, maybe ksh, but, there's no point anymore.

Step Two. Learn C and C derivatives.

Step Three. Remote Access. telnet, ftp, ssh, that kind of stuff.

Step Four. Learn how to use Hydra for dictionary attacks.

really theres lots of defenitions of "hacking". you can "hack" windows to change things around, or "hack" with bat files or command prompt, or "hack" your school to get past there firewall........ not that i would ever do that..............

really how you think of a "hacker" in the movies who randomly types on screens flashing binary code and magically gets access to all the governments secrets isnt real. real hacking is messing with code and changing programs around and is usually used for fun or good. get good with say, c++ programing if you want, or know allot of back doors, like using ip adresses, bat files, command prompt.

for example at my school i wanted to get an admin account and get past the firewall so it took me a year but i played around with things and used the create a shorcut button to get into c:/ and i could mess with other people files and get into ms-dos prompt, which is a command prompt with a different name (idk why) that the school forgot to make unusable, so i could use that to play with stuff, ping websites and find out the ip adress and then use that to try to get past (that was fixed by the school fast) , stuff like that, or i could use notepad to make a batch file to make myself an admin account on that computer, and do whatever i want. i could do allot more (hack teachers) i didnt and im not gonna tell you how.

anyway just get fluent with computers, play with them, have a computer dual boot linux and windows, stuff like that and youl just know stuff to hack with. learning a programing language will help allot to, like c++ or java is usually an easy starter one.

BTW i had like 3 other hacking buddies who helped with the batch file and stuff like that, i wouldnt have been able to hack the school without them. we were just bored because we finished everything so fast in tech class and never did anything bad on the hacked computers, we just played flash games on websites once we could go anywhere. it was pretty easy and im supprised we made it, i left a trail of hints for the next grade (we were in 8th goin to high school next year) to find out and stuff lol.
