my computer is infected with a rootkit, and i may have to re-install the OS. i wanted to save the large amount of music i have though, since i ve lost alot of those CD's. i was wondering if amazon cloud player can be infected with, and transfer malware. currently i had the latest malwarebytes do a full scan, and remove the infected itemrs is found. its also on a free trial and is constantly blocking random IP addresses from connecting to the internet. just thought this extra bit of information might help in determining the answer. as in can and will malwarebytes block the malware, or should i avoid the cloud storage? also can these viruses be transfered to a android.

Every technology or software has a hole, they attack from these security/holes/breaches and apply their patches, and the job is done, weather it is cloud or storm coverage software.

Best is download your songs etc on different flash drives or CDs.

Virus can be transferred to anything that uses internet in any form

With Cloud you are some what safer while on line.
