Help; I can't get on my laptop... AT ALL!?!?!?

Yesterday I was browsing some socialism vs capitalism forums; when all of a sudden my firewall kept asking me if I wanted to block this thing. Every time I clicked yes, it would pop up again, so I reboot my computer hoping it would get rid of it. When I logged back on; my computer was infected with the "guard online" virus. I rebooted into safe mode; ran malewarebytes, it found 2 viruses and a few cookies which it supposedly removed. I rebooted it back into safe mode; ran superantispyware, which found another set of viruses and cookies. After that I rinse and repeated the process until it stopped picking up viruses and cookies, then I ran both 3 times, then logged off for the night. In the morning; I realized my laptop never actually logged off; and that it was sitting there with a black screen and a flickering white line in the top left hand corner. I cut the power; tried logging on, and each time I got that same black screen with flickering white line in the corner. I can't get in at all; I can't do zip, all I can do is press the power button and look at that white line in the corner of the screen. SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!

If this is the virus infection then you can try Rescue Disk, you can download from Avira or Kaspersky

http://www.avira.com/en/support-download-avira-antivir-rescue-system

http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/rescuedisk?level=2

After download burn it to CD/DVD or usb drive, boot it and scan..

Kaspersky Rescue Disk User Guide..

http://support.kaspersky.com/downloads/guides/kasp10.0_rescuedisk_en.pdf

Can you update what is your laptop brands and model, because your laptop may be have recovery partition and you can reinstall windows from there.....

If you are sure your laptop do not have recovery partition, then follow the link to reinstall your windows...

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1649-clean-install-windows-7-a.html

To reinstall you need the Windows Installation Disc and a genuine product key.....If you do not have the disc, you can download the windows iso file and burn to CD or usb drive....make sure you have the product key.....

http://www.askvg.com/direct-download-links-download-official-original-and-untouched-windows-7-iso-32-bit-and-64-bit/

*UPDATE*

Do you mean you can boot into windows and you see blank screen and blinking cursor after login....or you cannot boot into windows at all....

*UPDATE*

I think your Asus netbook have recovery partition, you can restore/reset you windows....but all of you data (program, document...) will be delete.

Maybe this can help you.

That's what happens when you don't properly remove actively running malware. your first mistake was installing malwarebytes...You installed the wrong one, the imposter MBAM. MBAM does not remove cookies. Then mistake no2 was restarting your computer with a virus on it. When you do that, it's like restarting your computer after a driver update...you just completely executed the virus. 3 you did not shut down the virus before scanning....If you cannot even get into safe mode, take it to your local computer shop, or reinstall windows.

You had the wrong MBAM, this is the correct one:

http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html

If you go to all the major malware blogs, this is the one suggested.

That is why you need to take it in, they may be able to fix this. AT the point where a virus like the open cloud security is completely executed, and you get the black screen, I'm lost.

Another toll you may want to keep in the bookmark is rkill, it shuts down malware so it can be properly removed. it is just a small executable so you cant update, or just download, and keep, as they update it at the site:

READ THE DESCRIPTION, and for further help I suggest seeking help @ cnet forums viruses section

Try this:

Firstly, boot your computer to the Safe Mode menu screen. You do this by repeatedly pressing F8 as soon as you boot up. Once there, use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode with Networking. Continue to boot from there, by pressing Enter.

Once you reach your desktop, open your browser, copy and paste this link into the address bar and press Enter. It's a direct download for RKill. Save it to your desktop, then run it. When it's running, your desktop icons will vanish for a few seconds. When the notepad report is displayed, just close it. You may now delete RKill if you wish.

RKill SHOULD HAVE STOPPED THE ROGUE FROM RUNNING, BUT IT WON'T HAVE REMOVED IT.

Now open your browser and copy and paste this link into the address bar and press Enter. It's a direct download for the free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM). Install it, get updates an run a full scan (still in Safe Mode).

http://www.myantispyware.com/mbam

After this, try rebooting normally. If that's successful, I recommend you run another full scan with MBAM. It will detect malware that wasn't running in Safe Mode.

If that fails, this link gives detailed removal instructions.

Hope this helps.

Let me preface by means of declaring that I am an legal Dell and HP Reseller. I don't have anything towards Macs in any respect. In truth, I am HIGHLY inspired by means of the present Macbooks. If you desire the Microsoft Operating System, the Dell Vostro computer has been my present opt for for excellent importance for lowend laptops. In my opinion, you're evaluating apples to oranges. They do not examine to one another as they each have unique advantages. My official opinion: Macbooks - Stable (developed on Unix platform), cast methods, realistic, extra inflexible necessities, greater video modifying ability, potential to run XP nearly (making use of application). Dell Vostro - Comes with XP or Vista, bendy with application, tons of hardware choices, much less highly-priced. I suggest you speak on your lecturers first and ask what they are going to be making use of. Ultimately, you'll uncover much less complications in case you whichever platform they're making use of.
