How to get rid of a fake security system - virus?

Question

I have a fake German security system that has infected my computer. It's a typical virus I got after I accidentally went on a bad website. Any tips to remove it? Please don't suggest any websites or programs; I can't download anything on it.

It's Malware posing as a security system cleaner

1) Reboot in Safe Mode with Networking

2) Plug in a jump drive (USB flash drive) and go to www.malwarebytes.org

3) Download the free version to your jumpdrive and install it on the jumpdrive

4) Before you scan, update the malwarebytes program (there will be a "tab" that says update or it will prompt you to update it when you install.) You are going to run the scan from the jump drive.

5) Do a full scan of your C: and D: drives

6) Reboot



This should take care of it. I had a similar virus not too long ago. It was posing as a Windows security system problem and it wouldn't let me do anything. It kept telling me that everything was infected.

To remove the proxy for IE



Click Tools

Click Internet Options

Select the Connections Tab

Click Lan Settings

Remove Checkbox next to proxy



To get rid of it totally you must run some sort of adware removal.



I suggest using another computer to download malwarebytes (malwarebytes.org) and install it onto your system with errors. Burn it a CD or put it on a Jump/Flash Drive

kill this running processes first shlwapi.dll si wininet.dll open task manager under applications end anti virus system pro task,then go under running processes and find the processes mentioned above and highlight then kill.after every kill you'll be prompted to confirm,click ok and close process explorer.don't restart just run malwarebytes and it will work.don't delete complete the virus just let it delivered in quarantine otherwise you'll loose your login screen.after quarantine restart your computer and you'll be fine.keep the virus in quarantine a few days create new restore point then delete all previous restore points except the newerly one then you'll be ok.after few days you'll be able to remove it from quarantine.good luck!

you need to go to http://www.ubcd4win.com/ on a friends computer and build a a bootable cd or dvd

and this one does it all will give you internet access to update it files and it free also when you get the computer back boot in safe mode withnetworking (shift F8) and go to eset.com and do a free antivirus scan make sure you put the didk in and then turn off the computer so it a cold boot

This is the only other way I know if you can't get on If your real luck you have neighbored like me who has all the tools for removing virus good luck

i tried the smallest scanner ever and it worket with viruses then i deleted other useles anti viruses

its name (smart cop) search the web

you download it and extract it in a folder

download the 2 updates and but them in the same folder with it

then open it and choose drive and press scan



all the 3 files are about 7 mega or 5 or less

Go to all programs,uninstall,look for it-hint-the date it started,then remove it
