WINDOWS FIREWALL HELP?

please help me my windows firewall will not turn on or let me update it it keeps saying some error thing when i try update it but when i try to turn it on it says windows security service cannot be started. LIKE WTF ive tryed so much to fix it the toubleshootout thing found the problem but couldn't fix it and i got something form the windows security web called fix it and it found the problem but couldn't fix it is there something i can do??

Yeah, install Norton internet security, it has its own firewall which is far better then the windows default firewall

You have a rootkit, you will need to clean your PC. Here are the steps.

1. This will fix your firewall issue....follow the instructions on this site and run the combofix programs. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix



2. Continue to clean your PC/ check the options to scan all files and remove threats, its been a while since I ran this so the options may be different.

3. Continue to clean your PC/ check the option to Scan all Users and then click QUICK SCAN

Run this program again and in the custom fix location copy and past this then click RUN FIX

[clearallrestorepoints]



Allow this to run uninterrupted and then reboot.

Run this program again on reboot and click CLEAN UP, you may need to visit the link every time to run it.
