Question:
Why won't my administrative network logon access a share on an XP machine more than once simultaneously?

I created a share on an XP machine and have given everyone change access. In the security settings I've added the account in question with full control. If someone connects to this share with that logon it works..but someone else tries to connect to the same share..I get Access Denied. Even when the person who's connected disconnects and another person tries to access the share..the Access Denied shows. I have to reboot the XP machine in order for someone to access the share.

try creating user groups in the computer management plugin

then give the people that need access to that share a group(example shared user)then assign right based on group memebership

this will allow you to manage the share easier

also remember to change the rights for the share in the sharing/permissions tab and the security tab

Try patching your tcpip.sys with the utility at http://www.lvllord.de/

Not sure that will resolve the issue but Microsoft limiting your 1/2 open connections to 10 has strange results.
