Question:
How do you track someone visiting your tumblr blog via IP address?
2011-02-16 18:33:53 UTC
My friend had posted a picture of this person visiting her tumblr. It said how often the visitor came on to her blog with specific times and where she lived, etc. Do any of you know what this program is called? Because I have some suspicions that there are people creeping me and I just want to confirm at least how often they visit my page.

I use statcounter.com to keep track of who visits my page. It's easy to use, plus it's free. Although it won't give the url of the person viewing your blog, it will show the IP address, where they live, how often they visit, how long they visit, etc.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aOoD6

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

Google analytics will record each visit and report the city, service provider, length of the visit and depth, what pages were visited. It can also determine new versus return visits. It does not record IP addresses or any information on individual users.

That's super creepy. I would report her to the authorities and put a restraining order on her.

Google analytics or hitsniffer will be useful for you. Hitsniffer is a paid service.
