Hello All,

I have just got back from a weekend away to find that my e-mail was Hacked!! I have not been on my computer/e-mail since Thursday yet, today a few hours ago my e-mail seems to have sent website links to everyone in my address book.

What should I do? I have run virus programs and found no virus so how did people get into my e-mail??

What should I do to stop this. Have I got a virus hidden? What should I do to protect my computer. I use internet banking, is this at risk?

Thanks!

Well, you probably been somewhere you shouldn't or messed with someone you shouldn't because they're not that many hackers that will random''y 'hack you' unless you provoke them. Unless you get a cocky noob. Now, if you can tell me what type of email has been hacked I could actually help you. Other than that, you're pretty much screwed.

Now internet banking, I never really looked into it, but if you have vital information stored on your computer on how-to access this, then yes. See, if you ever logged on and never deleted anything, or you chose 'remember my password' then you're pretty much out of luck if someone put a keylogger on your computer. A advanced hacker could pull up even deleted data, but a advanced hacker won't do something stupid like hack someone's email, don't worry. If you got a virus hidden in your pc it will slow down pretty much everything from before. Plus, you will notice some changes. Now, if you have a keylogger that's a-lot harder to find, yet least likely you got it from when you were away. Because your pc had to have been on for that to happen. Anyways whatever your email is it's smart to make a new email and tell the current site of your email what happened, and request a new password. Also make sure you password is like: PzcvfE35G32s, that is hard for anyone that doesn't have your log files to hack. It would take over a year to get that password, and I highly doubt anyone would have any patience for that unless you really pissed them off.

I think that about covered it.

it truly is actual that oil organizations and different supporters of speculation's incompatible with AGW will play with a 'grimy' hand and use their money and effect to do such issues as this, alongside with others. it truly is of no issue. the fact is there and we ought to attend to the issue, no longer a lot less intertwined events like this. that's if truth be told predictable. I even ought to assert that it truly is predictable that there'll be idiots hacking e-mails on both area faster or later. in case you want to get into stuff like this you're going the incorrect way-it in basic terms distracts from the issue. human beings will do some thing lol. it ought to easily be idiots this time too :).

If it's an Internet email ie yahoo or gmail, then simply change your password via there website. Otherwise I don't know what you can do.
