Comcast controls your IP. They can look at the times and IP addresses assigned and figure out who was doing what with what IP at what time. If you force your IP address to change, they still look at the logs and send you a notice. In other words, you can't hide from them because they are your ISP.

What you have to do is quit downloading stuff. It is against the rules to support any illegal activity in YA so that is the only answer anyone can legally give.

If you continue to download stuff, your parents will eventually be hauled into court and fined. Yes, you are just a kid and not responsible for your actions. So instead, they will go after the people who are responsible for your actions. You think it is bad that you got caught? Wait until they start with the legal actions and fines when you lose in court. When an ISP like Comcast sends out these notices, they are usually done in cooperation with the owner of the copyrighted material. On top of that, they also have a legal obligation to respond to any and all allegations of wrong doing of one of their customers. Or in other words, Comcast doesn't want to get sued so they send you a note. If you continue, then they get more lawyers involved and things get more expensive for your parents eventually.

Start saving your allowance and buy the games you want.

Ouch. If you're into that kind of stuff, torrents are the least safe way to get games by their very nature. When you're downloading and uploading bits of a pirated version COD from hundreds of other people on the internet, you're bound to get caught by someone.

Try using megaupload and other direct download services (a.k.a. NOT torrents). Their safer, as you are only receiving data from one server. More importantly, you're not uploading illegal data to anyone, which is what really ticks off companies.

If you're desperate and have access to a credit or debit card of some kind, you could try a paid VPN service.

But in all honesty, just cough up the money and buy the game. Working for a few hours to earn the money and play legally and hassle free is probably less time consuming than trying to get all your stuff illegally.

Is Comcast your ISP? If yes, then you can't. It'd be like trying to stop the mailman from reading your mail.
